Friday, Jan 23, 2008. The christian community has never been what it could be or what it should be. It is important to realize how far we all have been left behind of the example Jesus has given. It is absolutely crucial to realize that "Christianity" today is a broad mixture of many things which are not from Jesus. {{2009_01_23.jpg }} Christianity is not about being perfect. It is not about a life which could be like Jesus. He was the son of the holy God. He was different - in his truth and love unreachable, but at the same time near and in the middle of his people. However: there is more in his message than we are used to realize. The doctrine of some theology has been that he saved everyone - and that we do not need to do anything. In fact, for this type of salvation we cannot do much. We cannot pay God back for all the mess of our life. He has done this "in Christ". That is done. But there is the need for action, the need for change, the need for truth, hope, love and endurance. Without changing our own life and the way we live in our community we cannot live as christians.
