======Grace 1 - Stories ...======
Monday, June 14, 2010. One day I was unpacking my lorry, in front of our
shop. Suddenly, my feet slipped when I was standing in the back of the
car and two big piles of boxed fell down ... they were scattered all over
the road. What a mess!
A young man had been passing by, just ten seconds earlier. I saw him stopping,
he realized my little accident, then he turned around and started to collect
the boxes. While I was still surprised and a little confused, he helped me
to put all the boxed into our shop ... it took him about ten minutes. He did
not say much, ... just worked efficiently. Thanks, I said, that was very
helpful. De nada, he replied, its nothing. Have a nice day. Then he turned
around and continued his walk along the road.

**Just helping**
Grace is about someone like the guy above - someone who is just there, just
helping. Someone who does not need to do it. He does not want anything with
it. He does not want to earn something. He is just helping, without a reason,
just so.
There was this woman, who was smiling at him. Ken was working in the
convenience store at the corner, packing the instant coffee into one of the
shelves. He had been concentrated on his work for a while and probably
had not seen her enter.
He put the packages into the right order and looked over his
shoulder, ... she was still standing there and smiling at him. When he
looked the next time, she had moved to the ice-cream box in the center of
the store, got a large vanilla cube and came to the cashier to pay. Ken
hurried through the store and scanned the bar-code.
That's four dollars ninety-five,
he said. One second, she said, and smiled again ... it flooded through
Ken like a warm wind. Why in the world was she doing this, he did not know
her, and she did not know him ... he was not particularly handsome.
A moment later she was gone. What a smile, Ken thought, I wish I would get
one of these every day!

**Think grace! Live grace!**
Grace is about good things which are done to someone without a reason.
It can be a smile, or a helping hand. There are things in this world which
are done like this. Grace exists!
Can you think grace? Can you think in terms of grace? Can you live grace,
accept grace, accept that there is grace? Someone helps you ... he might
just want to help, nothing more. Is that possible? It is possible! Grace
exists ...
We can think grace. We can live grace. That means: we can accept grace,
just let someone help us. Let someone do good to us. And we can live grace,
do good ourselves, help ourselves ... grace is alive!
