Are you clear about what faith you could have ... what faith means for you on a daily basis? {{2010_12_11.jpg }} **Faith in Action ...** Sometimes, we read the biblical stories and we dream of the big victory of faith. We might dream of a world where there is no suffering. And perhaps you are in fact suffering currently, you have some severe illness or you are looking for a job. However, many of us are not severly ill and have a job, the unemployment rate in central Europe is clearly below 10% and that means that 9 out of 10 have a job. When life is just going the standard way, in school, in your company, with the kids, with all the things families need to do every day ... where is faith? How are we putting faith into action? In fact, we might get the feeling that we are more moving backwards, that we are not getting things done and that there is no space for faith at all, we are just stuck in the daily routine without any option to leave it! How are things going in your life? When I look into mine, I find many things I would like to organize in a better way, just to fit to Christ. But it is difficult, there are many construction areas in my life and it is just too much for me to sort them all out at the same time. {{ 2010_12_11_2.jpg}} **Let us ask God for his view ...** There is a simple option we always have. We can pray. We can ask God for his view. We can ask him, to help us to see the possibilities he has put into our life. We can ask him to open our eyes to see what he wants us to do. I am quite sure that God wants to help us to sort out our things, to live a life which is guided by his spirit. We might not be there with every area of our activities, with our thoughts, with our emotions, our plans and reactions. But things CAN change. He has so many possibilities ...! Big victories in faith start with simple steps. Big steps of faith can evolve over time, when we have done many small or even tiny steps of faith. Let us ask him to help us with the tiny steps, with the joy which can come into every day. Lord, open our eyes, today and tomorrow!
