======Faith Journey 9 - A New Heart ...======


Tuesday, Feb 8, 2011. On our tour into the land of faith we are 
currently reading the promise which is written in 
the prophet Ezekiel. It is a promise of God, the Lord, to send someone
who is able to transform mankind deeply. He is called a saviour
and prince of peace.

**A new heart  ...**

In Ezekiel 36, Verses 25-27, it is written what the Lord says:


I will give you a new heart and a new spirit, and will take a way the
heart of stone from you and give you a heart made of flesh. I will give you
my spirit and will transform you into people who walk within my commands
and my rights and act according to them. 


God announces the transformation of our character, by love, by changing
our hearts. In the land of faith we will realize, that we fall into 
love with the Lord. We will discover over time, that we develop a wonderful
love, a love to God. We will discover an unbelievable joy, such that
we are astonished and start to cheer and rejoice.

**Renewal is needed ...**

The renewal of our hearts is important. It is necessary. It is our only
chance. We all need this renewal, good and bad, young and old. We all need
to be changed, loosers and winners, the rich and the poor, members of the
church and non-members of the church. 

Often, we don't know what could be. We don't know what fantastic
possibilities are there. We don't know how wonderful the Lord is, living
in rather limited circumstances, with our little goals, our little victories. 
But there is something larger, something deeper, something more powerful:
the power of the spirit of the Lord. The love of the Lord. The freedom
of the Lord. The justice
of the Lord, which he gives freely to those who walk in the land of faith!
