We will continue to pursue this line of thought. {{2011_02_28.jpg }} **God's trace in creation ...** Look into nature: the universe, the earth, plants, animals and humans! All this is fascinating, and you will discover God's hand in all of it! The apostle Paul writes: "For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made" (Romans 1, 20). According to the biblical account God is the creator. He created the universe and the earth. He created the wonders of the living nature, an intense network of natural balances, well known to us, since we are part of this world, and yet strange and wonderful, not fully understood. {{ 2011_02_28_2.jpg}} Humans live in a created world! Man himself is created, and part of this world. We are made "of clay", and we will become clay after our death. God is more than creation ... Many people search for God, they want to discover him as a part of creation. But God is not part of creation, and he is not identical with creation, as some think. God was and is Lord of creation, he surrounds it, fills it, penetrates it, and is always more than the work of his hands, unreachable far from a world which is alienated from him, unreachable - but yet present and facing us! The bible makes it very clear: all our science will not be able to find God! God himself has decided, where he wants to show himself! God shows himself through the texts of the Old Testament, through the commands of justice and acts of humanity, which try to reach our conscience and sense of justice! God shows himself through the words of the prophets, which speak of healing and salvation, which touch our deepest hopes and deepest needs! And he shows himself in the human Jesus of Nazareth, his human son, in which he gives us his love! A view into God's heart ... Do not worry, if you cannot prove God! Do not worry if he cannot be found by your experiments! God has made a lot of him accessible! You can look at God, you can study him calmly, you can think about him and contemplate him! God wants to show himself in the person Jesus Christ! The bible makes it possible to look into the face of God today, to look deep into his heart! Try to find personal contact to Christians.
