How does it work during weekdays? {{2011_09_21.jpg }} **Faith is Changing my Approach to the Community ...** We want to go into a number of examples and case studies. But I would like to make clear that these cases should be representative. If you tell: when I was 21 I once had a very spectacular answer to a prayer, then this is usually not represenatative. You do not have spectacular answers to prayer every morning, but the answers might be less spectacular (but can be equally important). Faith is changing my approach to life. That is something which takes place every day. It changes my feeling about what is important. It changes the way I approach things. Here, I measure the change agains what would be without faith. In faith itself, of course there is some clear convergence. Faith brings me to actions which mirrow the character of the Lord. I might not really reach him, but I am moving in his direction. When I talk to other people, when I deal with their activities in science, then the attitude of the Lord is very important. God loves everyone. He wants everyone to have a life full of meaning and purpose. He wants us all to be brothers and sisters. My image of the science world is like that, even if I know that this is not reality. But I know that everyone should contribute to the whole of science. I know that most scientists want to contribute and I appreciate the whole set of my colleagues for their activities in this direction. {{ 2011_09_21_2.jpg}} **God's view ...** I try to have God's view when I deal with people. That means I try to see the love he has for every single person. I try to see the difficulties of life, which are slightly different for everyone. I try to see the good things as well and thank for them. Some years ago I started to pray for my colleagues and the people which I am in contact with. I started to pray for the people in my institute. That means I bring them to the Lord in prayer, I ask God to be there with them, to support them, to come with his holy spirit and bless them, to come with his salvation into all our lifes. This prayer turned out to be quite important. It changes my own emotions, I find myself changed by it, with a very positive attitude towards almost everyone! And of course God has unbelievable power to change whole communities. He can find solutions which we cannot invent. He can help us through where no way seems possible. He can open our mind and our heart for one another and help us to build a constructive atmosphere and reach real results in our community. All this is received by faith day by day ...!
