Are you more the active person, or rather passive? There are different characters in this world, and all of them have their important role. When we talk about dreams and how to change things, what type of characters do we need? {{2012_02_05.jpg }} **Problem Solver ...** Do you know people who are real problem solvers? Some of us have the talent to solve problems. That can be in different areas. Some are very gifted to solve mathematical problems. Others can resolve conflicts. Others, again, can solve severe economical questions and find solutions which can be realized. When you want to solve problems, you need different things. First, you need someone to see that there is a problem. You need even a whole range of people on different levels to see that something has to change. Then, you need someone to develop a vision. You need clear goals. You need someone to know where to go. And this person needs to convince the important people to go this direction. Without the decision makers in the boat there will not be any progress. But then you need someone to carry out the changes. You need someone to make the plan. Someone to know the steps. These need to be steps which can be realized. You need people who know the practice, know the rules, know the law and know the people and how they operate. You need leaders to lead the groups, the enterprise, the institution ... {{ 2012_02_05_2.jpg}} **Biblical Gifts ...** There is the biblical gift of leadership. There are also gifts of wisdom, gifts of teaching, gifts of prophesy. There are gifts of mercy, gifts of evangelism, the gift of administration. But to lead a group you will need leaders and you will need wisdom, which is taken up by leaders. Do you need passive people? Of course you need some kind of activation, otherwise there will not be any change. But you also need the more passive characters to support the steps. Usually, only they can secure the ground. Only the more passive people are able to put the changes into rules which remain. Sustainability needs a delicate balance between activism and passive behaviour. You need to gain ground, and then secure it. You need them both! When we need to make progress with our Christian community, we need to get together. We need to talk with each other.
