He trusted Jesus, and Jesus helped him. It is an example of faith, which can change our fate, which can change the local history of a person and its duties! It is a very concrete story. It is fascinating, but also difficult if you ask yourself: how could I enter this type of faith? But God wants us to trust in him and in his possibilities. He wants us to take his presence serious - and follow him. That is called faith. We follow him by learning from him. We follow by letting his truth and his love, his justice and his dedication, enter our life. He serves us. We are invited to serve as well. That is a part of faith. Faith needs the activity of serving, it needs the activity of joining the justice, the love and truth of the Lord. We cannot stay outside, we cannot stay observers only. He can do many things in our life, but we should start to walk to him, talk to him and then trust that he will be able to carry out whatever he says. What can I do, what to say, where or how to wait for him? Often, we are basically following our own needs, our own egoism. When we search the Lord for egoistic purposes, we cannot expect him to open his power to us. He wants us to enter his kingdom of love. Only here, in this new kingdom, we can expect to experience his power! He will not support our greed, but he will support our love. Thus, the key point to experience his power is to follow his love, to enter the kingdom of faith, and to live in the kingdom of faith. When you live with him, with all what you do, you will find that he will make things possible which seem impossible. He can do. He does not let us down.
