======One part to fit to the others! ...======
Wedmesday, Feb 19, 2014. Could it be that we are just a little silly when it
comes to God? We have some ideas - but do we take him serious? We might believe
somehow, but do we realize that our faith is not consistent? I will explain
what I mean in a moment.

**Consistent belief? ...**
A consistent belief is one where all parts fit to each other. Consistency means
that the different parts of some statement or theory or thing fit to each other
and do not contradict each other.
We are not consistent, if we belief in God's power, but do not belief that he can
use it. We are inconsistent if we believe in God's grace, but do not build on
it by trusting it. When we talk about his love, but do never experience it or let
him love us, how could I say I am consistent?
Many of us - including myself - we think we believe in the Lord, but then we
live a good part of our life as if God would not exist. We do not realize how
strongly one part of our life contradicts the other one. We build on God, but
we also build on other people. We say that we believe in the truth, but then
we lie. We say we believe in love, but we do not love the way it would be
necessary.

**I want to praise you more ...**
>
This morning on my bike I realized that I do not praise God the way it is good
and needed. I do not praise him for all he is, and for all what he has done. He
IS fantastic, he is majestic, and he is pure and breathtaking. I want to praise
him more, just because he is reality!
But my praise cannot remain in my words only. It needs to go into my feelings.
It needs to be part of my reason. It needs to be part of my mind, of my actions,
of my habits, of my behaviour, of my day, of my relationships, of my work. God
is fantastic, and since he is MY God, I am in good shape. I have a heavenly
father, who is quite capable. I know something like the "world best scientist",
the "Nobel price winner". Jesus has never been a scientist, but he knows more
about humans than we have ever learned. He has never won the Nobel price,
but he has won the price of eternal life, for himself, and for all who believe
in him.
Let one part of my life fit to the others. I want to work on this. And I want
God's grace to work on this. Lord, come!
