======Turn around ...======
Wednesday, July 16, 2014. When managers work too much, they realize at some point,
that things need to change. Today, when you are in any responsible position - job
wise or where ever you are engaged - you quickly realize that you can put more
work hours in than you have available. So what to do about it? You need to get
away from the busy line, turn around and come with an alternative concept!

**Repentance ...**
When you got into some bad habits, for example drinking too much alcohol, or taking
drugs, or spending all your time with your TV or your computer, or talking badly
about other people, or ... or ... or, then you need to turn around. You need change,
positive change.
We might need change on various layers of our life. It could be a change in our
mind. Perhaps our economy does not work, or our company does not work. Perhaps you
own a little shop in a side road - and it does not run as it should. You might
need to change your approach to selling. You might need a new concept for your
business. When the environment changes, we also need to change and to adapt!
As a scientist, we cannot just continue our old approaches. We need to change as
well. Technology is moving forward. And there are new views into our old area,
new ideas around how you could approach it, new insight. We need to pick it up,
and move it forward. We need to turn around and see what else is there. We need
positive change.

**Biblical Turns ...**
>
In the bible, Jesus calls us to a turn as well. He wants our whole life to turn.
He wants our goals, our concept of life, all we are and want and to to turn to the
Lord, to the eternal God.
The turns which the bible suggests are highly healthy! These are turns which bring
us out of fatal dependencies. These are turns which turn us towards life - life
in full! These are lucky turns, which bring a lot of joy - when we turn and then
move forward with full speed. We need to listen, and to follow. God is great,
and he has prepared many great things for us.
God does not leave us alone with our change. He wants to be there with us, in
the middle of it. He wants to guide us, to give advice, to help us, to be a strong
helper, who provides what we need - in the middle of the change. Let us turn
to him!
