Sometimes my heart is really greatful for my Christian brothers and sisters - in particular for those whose heart is filled with the Holy Spirit and who are mature and balanced in their Christian viewpoints. It is so good to be together with you, friends! So good. {{2015_03_11.jpg }} **Insight, Truth, Mercy, Trust ...** It is good to have someone we can fully trust. It is good to have God himself, who is absolutely fantastic. God is fully reliable, he is fully truthful, he is fully trustworthy. It may sound like mere words, but it is much more. He is there. Yes, God exists. And it is not just some God, but the living God is love, pure love, the way, the truth and the life! God did not want to be alone. He wanted to have community. He created humans to be with them. He wants to care. He wants to be there. He wants to serve - and to be served. "Love" has service as one of its key features! So when we come to the community of God, we come to a community which is filled with trust and with service. It is filled with mutual support. We are different, yes. But we can still seek to support each other in our differences, in our special ways, with all our weaknesses. And this happens. It is not an illusion. It is a reality. Christian community exists. In the middle of our churches, it is there. Where two or three meet in his name, he is there. And he changes our heart, and our mind, and our attitudes. God's might is a mighty force to change our heart! {{ 2015_03_11_2.jpg}} **Christian community ...** 13 But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. 14 To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Thessalonians 2, 13-14) The apostles and disciples during New Testament times experienced this Christian community. It is a communtiy with God in the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. It is a community with many other believers, near and far. And it can be so helpful, giving comfort to our soul. When the love of God enters our soul, a lot is possible - between humans and between God and man. So I am very thankful about the elders in our church. With all our differences, we are a community seeking the Lord, with all our heart. Brothers, it is good to have you as part of my life!
