Sometimes, when you feel personally stuck in some important point, you need new hope and new ideas how to go on. What is it that can carry you through? What changes can be done? What to do, to think, to feel? How to act? {{2015_06_16.jpg }} **Where do you find comfort? ...** Where do you find comfort? It is good to talk to friends. I talk to my wife a lot about it. But then, after a while, she is so involved, that she does not have the distance which is sometimes needed. She is immediately affected, when I change my job or when I need to travel. Of course she needs to be in the process to search for solutions, but there must be more! I also talked to some friends, old friends which I do not see every day. That was really good and helpful. They have a different environment, work in industry, but face similar challenges. It was good to hear their questions, their thoughts, their viewpoint. I am deeply grateful for a very long conversation which I had some days ago. Then, I spent many hours in prayer over the past days. Some flight yesterday helped me a lot: with my diary I could sit there and meditate the situation with the Lord. And new ideas are popping up everywhere. These are broad ideas, nice ideas, hopeful szenarios. A lot seems possible, I do not have to sit with a highly unsatisfactory situation and no hope for change. Change will come, on every layer. The Lord is the Lord of hope, of creativity, of possibilities, of perspective, of new life even! {{ 2015_06_16_2.jpg}} **Throuh lamentation to praise ...** Yes, it is possible to go through lamentation and end up with praise. When you talk to the Lord, the God of the Earth, this is a typical experience. I just had it yesterday, in my three hours of prayer. In the book of lamentations, this is mirrored in the following lines: 22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; 23 they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. 24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” 25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. (Lamentations 3) There is still a lot to talk - with the Lord. We should not act too quickly, but first talk it through with him until a really good solution is reached. That takes time and effort. But he is there. His spirit is willing to help. He is giving ideas and perspective. His solutions might not be the easy first choices - but he will guide us to much better steps, he is just fantastic! Patience and endurance is needed, to reach this. He wants us to be sincere with him, and to put our hope on him, not on anything or anyone else! And with him, there is true hope! This is truly astonishing ... !
