Sometimes it is good, to look at our goals not only focused on the next two weeks or on the next couple of month. It is good to ask: what are the goals for our life?

What are typical goals we all have? I want to work. I want to finish school, to complete some training, to study and to find a job. I want to have a partner. I want to have kids and a family. I want to solve the problems I have with my partner. I want to recover from my illness. I want to …

We also need to look for the broader picture. What are God's goals for me? What is the role of the eternal God in my life?

The question for God's role is one everyone can ask, Christians and non-Christians. We might have definite answers, or partial answers, or we know that we are currently searching for answers. There might be generic answers, which apply to everyone. There are also personal answers, which apply to me only. We are all individuals, but we are also all in one joint human family. Humans are one family indeed!
