Menschen leben nach verschiedenen Konzepten, wie sie mit ihrer Umgebung umgehen - mit anderen Menschen und mit den Strukturen um sie her. Diese Handlungs-Konzepte können sich ziemlich unterscheiden von Person zu Person … aber ist es schon ausreichend, sie nur zu verstehen? Gibt es besser oder schlechter in diesen Konzepten? Was ist mit “gut” und “böse”?

Charakter Typologie und Ethik …

Ich habe mich in den letzten Tagen intensiv mit einer Charakter-Typologie beschäftigt, habe versucht zu verstehen, wie Menschen handeln, was sie antreibt und wie du mit ihnen umgehen könntest. Das ist extrem spannend … Menschen sind so unterschiedlich, und du wirst keine Gemeinschaft aufbauen können, wenn du den verschiedenen Persönlichkeiten keinen Raum gibst, die Teil davon sein sollen.

Aber ich kam auch zu der Frage: was ist mit dem Bösen? Wenn Menschen andere ignorieren, dann IST das einfach böse. Wenn sie andere schlecht behandeln - und da gibt es eine große Vielfalt von Möglichkeiten, wie das geschehen kann - ist das böse. Ich habe mir Zeit genommen, in der Bibel nach dem Wort “böse” (evil) zu suchen, und es gibt viele hunderte von Versen, wo die Bibel über das Böse spricht. Nur als Beispiel, lass uns in die Sprichwörter hineinsehen:

Spr 17, 13 Wer Gutes mit Bösem vergilt, von dessen Haus wird das Böse nicht weichen. 22 Sprich nicht: »Ich will Böses vergelten!« Harre des HERRN, der wird dir helfen. 10 Die Seele des Gottlosen gelüstet nach Bösem und erbarmt sich nicht seines Nächsten. 5 Böse Leute verstehen nichts vom Recht; die aber nach dem HERRN fragen, verstehen alles. 10 Wer die Frommen verführt auf einen bösen Weg, wird selbst in seine Grube fallen; aber die Frommen werden Gutes ererben. 6 Wenn ein Böser sündigt, verstrickt er sich selbst; aber ein Gerechter geht seinen Weg und ist fröhlich.

Was ist die Quelle des Bösen? …

Ich frage mich selbst: was ist die Quelle des Bösen? Und wie überwindet man es? Wenn es da Konflikte in der Gemeinde gibt, wenn Menschen Fehler machen und einander verletzen, wenn Menschen schwach sind und kämpfen, und dann andere verantwortlich machen … all das kann überwunden werden, solange diejenigen an Jesus glauben und seiner Vergebung folgen. Wir müssen über Dinge sprechen, die nicht gut sind, wir müssen die Bereitschaft haben, unser Verhalten zu ändern, wir müssen “es tut mir leid” sagen zu einander und das mit klaren Verhaltensänderungen verbinden bei dem, was wir tun und wie wir es tun. Ich sehe große Chancen, die Vergebung zu leben, die wir von dem Herrn empfangen!

Aber es funktioniert nicht wenn jemand in seinem Verhalten verbohrt ist und nicht damit aufhört, andere zu beschuldigen oder zu verletzen. Ich versuche zu verstehen, wo das Böse beginnt und die Charakterschwäche endet. Lass uns notieren dass die Bibel das Böse klar benennt. Sie sagt: es ist da, und es ist schrecklich. Und wir sehen das Böse in Form von Krieg und Unterdrückung in vielen Teilen unserer Welt. Aber was ist mit unserer Arbeitsumgebung, mit unseren Familien, mit unseren Beziehungen zu Nachbarn und Kirchen-Mitgliedern, zwischen Kollegen und Freunden?

Vielleicht beginnt das Böse dort, wo das Erbarmen endet? In dem Moment, in dem du die Barmherzigkeit ignorierst und sie wegschiebst, da beginnst du, dem anderen gegenüber böse zu werden? In dem Moment, in dem du die Ignoranz vorziehst, und die Liebe an die zweite Stelle setzt. Ist es nur Gott selbst, der Gerechtigkeit mit Liebe in der rechten Weise verbinden kann, so dass die Konsequenzen und Handlungen gut sind?
