Sometimes our life is full of challenges. There are days, which are full of work. You have more things to do than you can manage. There might be other days, where things go more smoothly, where you can take a break or have a rest. But there are these times of challenge, the days where everything seems to be difficult, where things break down which have worked for quite a while ... {{2010_11_26.jpg }} **God can help ...** We live in a world which follows natural laws. That is good, since it gives us the possibility to learn how to do things, to plan and to carry out. We cannot even imagine a world without such laws. Would it be completely random? How would we think about the future, about plans ...? God's role in our world is such that he is there and can act. The bible even confirms: God can do what ever he wants. He has a power that supersedes anything we can imagine. He can help. He can interact with our life. He can be there in our challenges, lead us through, be there to comfort us, to guide us, to change us in and through all this ...! {{ 2010_11_26_2.jpg}} **We need to pray ...** When we want God to interact, we should pray. We should talk to him. We can talk and listen. We can find out what he thinks about our life, about our challenges. Sometimes, God helps us right away. He just acts. But often, he does not want to do this. He wants to talk to us first. He wants us to think about our own life, our tasks, our goals, our perspectives. He does not want us just to take something we need or want, and then continue a path of destruction. He does not want us to loose much, not to come to him just to help fixing the consequences which our lifestyle generates. He wants to address the real questions ... When we start to pray, we also start a sincere interaction with the Lord. We start a new way of life. We start a life of faith ... it will change us!
