======Responsible Action ...======
Thursday, March 21, 2013. One feature of kingdom is to have the freedom
of choice, the freedom to make decisions. When you are not in control, when
you have no choice, then you cannot live responsibility!

**Can you live responsibility? ...**
How does it work in your life? Can you live responsibility? Lets talk about
your job first. Do you have the freedom to take responsible steps? Are you
in control of at least a part of your time? Usually, we are all partly squeezed
into some schemes or duties, where we do not have a choice. That applies even
to the kings, which have to follow protocols and have to meet expectations.
But we also have parts of our work which we can shape. We have the freedom to
do things this way or differently. We have the freedom to be flexible, or to
stick to stupid rules. We have the freedom to use reason, or to ignore reason. With
our decisions, we can make a real difference, even if we are squeezed into
some system which tries to determine our days and the outcome of our work.
Here, we come to the question of "controlling". Modern business tries to be
independent of individuals. A big company does not want to be dependent on
the individual employees, but have a controlling system which basically plans with
the work force, and reaches goals by central planning. But that does work only
partially. In the end, for every individual task you need people. And it is
up to them to make it a success. In the end, it is always up to the decisions
and motivation of the individuals, who make it work.

**It is their fault! ??? ...**
**
This morning I observed myself with the thought: "it is their fault, why
should you care about them". I was thinking about some parts of this world,
where real trouble happens currently. But also, I realized that this thought is
not true. It might by their fault, who ever "they" is. But that should not stop
us from responsible action.
Here, we come to the biblical templates which are given to us by the Lord.
Jesus has come into this world, to save mankind. It had been their fault, it has
been our fault. But he came, since he could save us. He thought about us, and
he did not let thoughts stop him which would tell him, that it is our fault.
He was taking real responsibility. He was changing the world. He had compassion,
he used his reason and his heart, and he came.
It is an important step for us to start to develop real compassion for all things
we do, and for some we are not yet involved in, but which the Lord shows to us.
We cannot save the whole world in one go (and it has been saved already by Christ
Jesus)! But we can join his agenda, we can joint his mission. With his holy
spirit he will show us the steps where we can make a real difference.
