======Broken Hearted ...======
Wednesday, March 18, 2015. Are you frustrated sometimes? Perhaps you are strongly
frustrated currently. There are so many reasons to be frustrated, desillusioned,
overwhelmed by the feeling of reaching nothing. Some of us try to find a
reasonable job - or any job at all. But even if you have one, you might struggle
on various levels.

**Success and Frustration ...**
You might be very successful, and yet very frustrated. This phenomen is not new.
In particular in the film business, people have experienced it ever since. But also
in other places. You might even go back to the times of Moses in the Old Testament.
He was living in a royal environment, but struggled with the injustice which
the people of Israel had to suffer. In a golden cage he did not want to stay - and
then started to do justice himself, which led to 40 years of personal excile
before God could use him.
Where is our consolation? Where is the one we can go to in times of frustration
and distress? Who can we talk to when our environment does not want to listen,
when unreason and power struggle reigns over arguments and teamwork.
The bible clearly tells us that God is there - not far from us. It clearly tells us
that he wants to be our help, our consolation, our support. He wants to be our
home, an eternal home, a home which is trustworthy. Psalm 147 talks about him,
who heals the brokenhearted.

**Heals the Brokenhearted ...**
1 Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.
2 The Lord builds up Jerusalem; he gathers the outcasts of Israel.
3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
(Psalm 147, 1-3)
How do you grasp this consolation? How can it reach me, my soul, my feelings? How
can it change my behaviour? There are many things you can do frustrated, which are
not good. Becoming bitter, with words of bitternes, is one of the lines which
lead into destruction. Some of us find consolation in alcohol - and regret it
soon after they make their choices. Lord, how do we gain the strength, to belief
your goodness today and tomorrow?
Often I come to the point that we do not have this strength. I do not have it. I feel
week, I feel unable to fight continuing frustration, which comes to me day by day
by some parts of my environment. Lord, could it be your strength which does the
job, where my strenght is not sufficient? Please come and hold my hand, hold my arms,
where I am too week. I mean my decisions, I mean my consolation, I mean my words.
You are the almighty, you can do!
