-====== Arguments on the Bible ... ======+====== The Bible in My Life ... ======

-Thursday, August 17, 2017.   +Thursday, August 17, 2017.  What is the role of the bible in my life, in my days? What are the options?
+What are the possibilities? The bible collects the story of Jesus and his disciples in the New Testament.
+And it collects the stories about God and his people - the people of Israel - in the Old Testament. The
+texts are written to be alive, to be texts for both daily use and for deep study. They are words of life!

-** Fantastic Sources ...**+** For You Today ...**

+Today no one does not know the bible at all. We all know some things. But do we know Jesus? Do we
+realize that God in father, son and holy spirit wants to be there with us day by day? Do we realize that
+the bible wants to be a love letter, which conquers our heart and leads us into a life in dense
 +community with the eternal god?

+The bible is made for me and for you today. It is made to listen, and to be inspired. It is made to
+make us free - when we follow Jesus as disciples. When we personally follow him. When his spirit comes
+into our heart and our mind.
 +
+There has always been a lot of resistance, we hear about it for example in the New Testament book of acts,
+the story of the first apostles:

-1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we looked upon and have touched with our hands, concerning the word of life— 2 the life was made manifest, and we have seen itand testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal lifewhich was with the Father and was made manifest to us— 3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to youso that you too may have fellowship with us; and indeed our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.+18 So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered them“Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to Godyou must judge, 20 for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.” 21 And when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way to punish thembecause of the people, for all were praising God for what had happened

-** Realiable Tradition ...**+** Truth and Power ...**

+The bible is a book full of truth. It is a book full of wisdom. There are many layers of this book - from
+its historical contents to the parables, it includes ethics and wisdom. All of it is important. Its goal,
+with all of its parts, is to bring us into a relationship with the Lord, to make us to disciples,  to
+parts of his community, to restore the relationship between mankind and God, on an individual basis,
+one by one, by faith and trust!

+The truth of the biblical books can be found and experienced on many levels. It can be found by digging into
+history. It can be found by research, by modern tools and archeaology. It can also be found on the conceptual
+level: its insight into what man and women are. Its descriptions of guilt and reconciliation. It is just
+the most realistic view into the history of mankind you can have.

- +It can also experienced by the power of the holy spirit, when you come to faith and let God enter your
+life through the holy spirit. It is a spirit of power - not the physical power of cannons and the sword, but
+the power of love, peace and forgiveness, the power of a life which finds to the source of life! God wants
+to come into our hearts, and give us a personal freedom beyond our wildest dreams.
