Praise God

Let us read Psalm 150:

Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. 2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Full of Music and Praise

When we meet the Lord, our heart is filled with music and praise. God IS fantastic. If we come close to him, if we realize that who he is and how he is, we can only be overwhelmed. We can only be full of praise. If something is to be praised on this planet, it is the Lord.

The Old Testament tells the story of David, who was a musician. He played to King Saul to calm down his heart and emotions. He played to God during his various struggles. And he wrote key songs, which have moved people ever since. God's heart was with David, and one of the reasons was his full dedication to the Lord, his heart full of worship, truth and love - even if he failed at several important points during his lifetime.

The bible invites us to join the worship. It invites us to open our eyes and our heart and come to the Lord. We will be filled with joy and with praise … just because we see what is reality, and his truth is wonderful, breathtaking, sky-rocking, earth-shaking, fantastic, mega brilliant, … ... more texts
