Things moving? ...

Friday, Sept 16, 2016. Are things moving forward? Do you know the situation where you long for something to move forward, but it seems to be stuck? Or things are going backwards, it seems that a group looses members and people look for new perspectives outside of it. Things can be difficult, and what can we do about it?

Back to the Roots …

Where are you in all these questions? Do you feel threatened? Are you on a loosing track? Do you feel the need to go away as well? Where is your inner balance? What is your center?

When you have a clear idea of who you are and where you are, then you will not be in trouble. When your inner compass is well set and a sound basis, you will be fine! But what is the center and source of you balance? What is your basis, your rock, your solid foundation?

The Lord can be your light. He can fill you with his presence, his love, his truth and with a warm breeze. He will give you a balance, which is beyond understanding. When you stand on him as your rock, you will not be shaken.

His Power? …

Often, we long for him to move us ahead. We want to see his power, we want to see things change. And he is powerful, he is all-powerful! I ran into the following verse of the book of Revelation about his power, symbolized by natural forces:

19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail. (from Rev 11)

So he can and will do a lot. All powers we know on earth are his, he made them all, he is the king of all. But he decided to come as a little child into his creation. He came in and with Jesus. He wants to be the light first, the calm source, the love of our life. With this type of power, based on and filled with deep love, he gains much more than any thunder could ever reach!
