Thursday, Feb 10, 2011. The greatest promise in the bible is love. Love is a flame of the Lord. It is a deep and holy love, a wonderful love, deep power of God.

Song of Solomon …

The bible talks about love again and again. It knows several beautiful songs of love. One of them is the Song of Solomon, which is located just before the great prophet Isiah. There, we read:

Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you: Do not arouse or awaken love until it so desires.

You cannot enforce love. It needs time to develop and to grow. Love needs a free decision. That is the love, the Lord is waiting for.

Developing a View for God's Love …

Perhaps you are already on your own path to develop a view for the love of the Lord. Perhaps you have fallen in love to the eternal God already. That would be wonderful.

But perhaps you are just starting to grasp a sense of what this love could be. This is a way to continue, there is so much to discover, wonderful things to find!

God's love is trying to find a way into our day. It wants to grow and to evolve our thoughts, our feelings and our decisions. And it will succeed when we move on into the land of faith … ... more texts
