Faith Journey 12 - Building on God's Presence ...

Tuesday, Feb 15, 2011. We have talked about the fascination of the world in the land of faith, and that something important is coming into it: the presence of God!

Believe him, that …

It is an important step on our personal path to start to build on the presence of God. It is imporant to believe God, that he is there> that he is close to us, that he understands and knows us! God gives this promise to every human: I am with you!

Let us listen to a human, who has started to build on the presence of God and has experienced this presence. In Psalm 139 we read:

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord. You hem me in—behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.

Christians know about the presence of God. And they believe in it, i.e. they are willing to build on it. They are in a process to develop a relationship to God, to fully trust their own life into his hands.

Try to find out what purpose your friends and colleagues see in their own life!
