The Peace Circle …

You know the vicious circle, where some action leads to another action … and step by step some process moves into a difficult direction. But there is also the peace circle. We can break the movement of the vicious circle and move the other direction.

I habe been thinking recently about a particular part of my life, where I realized that I need to move into a peace circle. I need to break the thoughts which keep me going into the wrong direction. I need to find actions which bring peace!

It all starts with the thinking. The peace circle starts with thoughts which realize that I am on a vicious circle with some part of my life. And then, I need to break the negative impact thinking and also, I need to break negative actions. I need to stop and do something else …!

What God did in Jesus …

God broke our negative life circle in Jesus. With his life, with his death at the cross and the resurrection, the negative process has been interrupted. And he started change. He started with a whole bunch of actions which lead into the different direction. He was the great healer. He was the great peace maker, who reconciled mankind with God, and men with each other.

Let us ask the Lord to transform us into peace makers! Let us ask him to let us see how we can break our own vicious circles. Let us ask him to show us steps of peace, today and tomorrow, in our life, our company, our environment!

Lord, heavenly father! You have come to make peace. You have given us everything. Let us be part of your peace, and let us generate peace in our own life. Please help us to find ways to stop the fighting, and work together. Please help us to find the right words, and stop words which destroy others and ourselves. Please help us, you king of peace, to be part of your kingdom. Help us in our life today!
