For everything in my life

Thank you, Lord, for the body I have. Life is fantastic and amazing. My body is a highly complex biological and mental being, it is breathtaking to observe what you created in my own body.

Thank you, Lord, for what I can do with my body and my mind. I can feel, I am able to dream, to make plans. I am able to cry and to weep. I can laugh and feel joy.

Thank you, Lord, for providing food and work. Thank you for the place where I can sleep, for the shelter you give to me. Thank you for family and friends. Thank you for my partner and my children. Thank you!

For difficulties?

Lord, I would like to say thank you also for the difficulties you have put into my life. You have given challenges to me, to teach me. You say no, sometimes, to guide me into a good direction. You teach me to let things go and to put my hope in you. You teach me love and truth!

Lord, your ways are deeper than our ways, your guidance is higher than our plans. You know, what is good. You teach us to listen to your appreciation, to live in your love. You keep us from false Gods. Your plan for us is future and life, a joy beyond joy.

Lord, you are wonderful. Your presence is worth more than gold or silver, your truth is as precious as the sun and the moon, your love is a source of life everlasting. A tiny part of your wisdom is more than the collected knowledge of our world, more than what we could dream of. Thank you, Lord! ... more texts
