Do your Homework first ...

Monday, Jan 5, 2015. Sometimes, to take the second step, we need to do the first step first. To be able to put further things into the shelf, we need to clean up first. To be able to cook, you need to empty the table.

Homework …

It seems to be one of the laws of life that sometimes preparations are needed to get to some particular point where you can start step number two or three or four. It applies to all levels of life - from financial questions to education, from engineering to science.

To do one step after the other patience is needed. You just cannot do the second step, before the first step is done. If you want to buy something expensive, you need to collect the money first. You need to have a setup in which it fits. Can you maintain it? Are you able to handle it? Is it safe? Do not do the second step before the first step.

God has prepared many things for us. He is eagerly waiting for us to go the steps of faith, which are needed to receive what he wants to give us. When we go these steps of faith, we see his great mercy. We experience his blessings. His wonders are part of our life, day by day. Let us open our eyes for his presence, and then go the first steps, today, step by step! (RWEP) ... more texts
